Latin America

During her career, Karen made many trips to Latin America, most often to document indigenous groups affirming their rights and their identities.

From filming the tin miners of Bolivia to photographing the refugee migrations of Guatemalans and the indigenous movement of the Zapatistas in Mexico, and visits to Chile and Cuba, she fell in love with the land and people of Latin America.
